Length of fellowship

• 3 months (can be extended to 6 months)

Program contents

• Deformity correction
• Nonunion treatment
• Limb lengthening (by external fixators, and external fixator – intramedullary nail combinations)
• Surgical treatment of chronic osteomyelitis
• Reconstructions utilizing combinations of intramedullary nails and external fixators
• External fixation in traumatology
• Reconstruction of congenital deformities

Prerequisite

Having completed an official residency program in orthopedic surgery and traumatology

Expectations

• The participant should learn every aspect of limb reconstruction, including preoperative planning, surgical techniques and follow-up principles
• To complete a paper and submit to a expended sci accredited journal
